I only need a quick 30 second voicemail recording. Is that too small a job?
Actually, many jobs are short and quick. Voicemail recordings for businesses and short 30 second commercials are quite common. No job is too small! And while we are talking size- no job is too BIG! I have many clients that have 50 page documents they need recorded.
I have already written out a script. Will you record what I have put together?
Yes! You know your business and your needs better than anyone else. It is actually best when you develop your own script and then just have me perform the actual audio recording.
Do you give discounts for returning clients?
Always! I love to make long lasting relationships with my clients. Many of my customers have me record new scripts every week or every month.
But you live in Oregon- can you still do my voiceover job?
In this business, location is not important in most situations. Simply email your script and direction notes with all details to me. The recording is made here and returned to you via email. I can even overnight UPS or FedEx delivery. And because acting is my full time career, my studio is open 24/7 for all your recording needs. East Coast clients – no fear, I got you covered! Whatever your needs are- I can work with you!
How long does it typically take to record a 30 second spot? Oh, and what if I need a retake?
I am FAST! The entire process is usually very quick. Basically, you can email me your script along with any notes. I record the voiceover work here and return it to you via email, Internet download, or snail mail. File formats include but are not limited to: mp3, wav, CD. The file is returned to you ready to drop into your audio or video editing program. I can almost always handle 24 hour turnaround- sometimes even within the hour! And re-takes and pickups are done at no charge. There is a small fee for rewrites or pickups done after delivery. It helps if you phonetically spell out any long, unusual, or technical words. Also be sure to let me know how to say your name or the name of the client or product if it is unusual. Custom demos are done at no charge. Demos are delivered with an audio watermark (set of beeps) placed within the recording. This digital water mark is not present on the final delivered recording. This is simply done for my protection.
Can you add music or sound effects to my recording?
You bet! I have access to many different music styles and effects. Let me know what you have in mind and I am sure I can hook you up!
